For many years many have experienced the paranormal by attending our annual ghost hunts. Now for the 4th year we return to one of the most historic buildings in Martin. This time we are going to not only bring you a quality event but to support a very special cause.
Founded in 1925 as the Woman’s Club Library, the library was housed in a room at the Martin Elementary School and was open one afternoon a week. It later relocated to the building that housed the city post office. It has been a staple in the community since it’s founding and even before. The halls and rooms of the library have seen many things and lasted through some of the most trying times in the last century.
They say if walls could tell history what would it say? Well how about the spirits that may still reside there? A library is a place of many stories but are all of the stories being told by the books? The current library will soon be moving again and it is our job as a community to preserve those stories and help them propel into the future.
Tickets are $10 and there are 10 spots open. Tickets are only available to adults 18 years or older. If you wish to make a donation and not attend the event we do appreciate those as well.
